Sony Ericsson K850 - Review
June 19, 2007

The Sony Ericsson K850 is one of the best phones amongst the 6 that they released late last week. The Sony Ericsson K850i (which would be the international version) whill work with HSDPA networks as well as Tri-band GSM frequencies. The phone is due to come out in the coming months with big launches. The SE K850 weighs around 118 grams and measures close to 102 x 48 x 17 mm. It comes with a pretty decent 265k color TFT screen with 240 x 320 pixel resolution. The screen externally measures about 2.2 inches. One of the best things about this phone is the super high quality cybershot camera. The 5 megapixel camera gives you the best pictures that you can ever hope for. It can take stills at a top resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels. The camera comes with Autofocus features and can capture video at QVGA quality at 30 frames per second. Other additional features that the cam boasts off are Xenon flash, 3 LED video light, lens cover and video calling is possible too.
The K850 has data connectivity features in abundance like GPRS, HSCSD, and EDGE. The phone supports 3G but only in the international variant. Sadly it doesn’t come with the ever so favorable Wi-Fi. There is Bluetooth ver. 2.0 with A2DP and connection with an Usb 2.0 port.
The battery life when used normally (without using too much of video and cam) lasts for about 9 hours of talk time. 400 hours is a decent standby time for this phone.
