Samsung G600 – 5 mega pixel wonder

Samsung has officially confirmed yet another five mega pixel cameraphone which is the new Samsung G600. But a five mega pixel camera is not a new thing for Samsung as it had already announced the Samsung F700 Smartphone earlier. What we expect from this phone is something really different besides just another 5 mega pixel camera. This is a slider phone which has the slimmest body ever designed by Samsung. Well, this is what we call uniqueness. Undoubtedly introducing just another phone can be done by anybody but only when you introduced something out of ordinary then you can expect more customers. This is quite true in this case. The new Samsung G600 looks quite trendy and since it’s a slim phone so it can give you a very good grip. This 3G camera phone has various features which makes it s perfect slim phone for those who are almost tired of those bulky 3G phones. It’s nothing revolutionary to introduce a 5 mega pixel cameraphones as other manufacturers have already introduced their 5 mega pixel phones. LG have its LG KG920, Nokia have the N95 and very soon Sony Ericsson is going to launch the K850 phone. So it’s nothing out of the ordinary for market but for Samsung it’s a big thing as it has now joined the 5 mega pixel camera phone brigade.

Body and Design
Samsung G600 is a slider phone with a slim body. Being a slider phone this phone has two panels. The front panel of this phone has the screen which gives a wide view. This phone has a thickness just 14.9 mm and the manufacturers believe that this would be their slimmest phone. This 3G clamshell has a 2.3 inches screen with a TFT display. This screen is boasted by a QVGA, 320x 240 pixels resolution. This handset was recently spotted at the American FCC website and after that the news of this phone spread everywhere. Though this was that much awaited phone but getting second 5 mega pixel camera from a manufacturer was enough to make a news.

Feature
Samsung G600 is a GSM phone with a well crafted body and design. The 5 mega pixel camera of is the focal point of this phone. This 14.9 mm slider phone is 3G enabled so gives you feature of a smartphone. This phone is Bluetooth V2.0 enabled which makes it all more attractive and user friendly. You get a USB 2.0 support with this phone. Though the memory of this phone is still not confirmed but this phone comes with a memory card slot so you can easily top it up as per your requirement. Samsung G600 has a radio with RDS, so what we guess is that this phone can give you good music experience.

Samsung L760 Review

Before starting this review let me tell you that we are not at all in a spree to popularize Samsung phones. You might think that we are only reviewing Samsung phones but we can’t help it because Samsung is busy introducing its new range of phones and we have nothing but to review these phones. Believe us, this isn’t at all a biased report. Jokes apart, here is another Samsung phone in run. Samsung has recently launched the new Samsung L760 cell phone which is a trendy and sporty phone by the manufacturer. This phone enjoys various features and a clamshell look which makes it all more attractive.

Body and design
Samsung L760 is a sliding phone which has a look which closely resembles the Samsung 730i. This phone has a design which can easily fill your palm. You get a minimum keys pad on the front panel of the phone. The screen is on the front panel which makes it very attractive. You get a wide front panel view with this phone. The front panel has a scrolling key which gives you four touch buttons for easy navigation. The keypad of this phone provides keys that are easy to operate. This phone is so designed that you can have an easy grip in your palm. The over all design of this phone is quite attractive. With an over all dimension 100x 47x 15 mm, this phone might look little heavy to you but this phone weighs a mere 93 grams.

Samsung L760 is a tri band GSM phone. You can also have this phone with a CDMA connection. You get a TFT screen with 256K colors display with this phone. The screen resolution of L760 is 176x 220 pixels. We just could not understand why Samsung is reducing the resolution of its phones. If you are having a low resolution then what is the need of having a TFT 256K color screen. This phone comes with a 40 MB embedded memory. If you want to top up the memory then you can do this through the microSD card present in this phone. L760 is a smartphone with all the required features which can allure any geek. This GPRS phone is also 3G enabled. You get EDGE and Bluetooth along with USB port with this phone. As per messaging you can do SMS, MMS, EMS and Email with this phone. You get a WAP 2.0/xHTML, RSS reader with this phone. L760 has a 2 mega pixel camera with 1600x 1200 pixels resolution. You also get video of QCIF MPEG4 H.263 and Flash with this camera. You get polyphonic ringtones with 64 channels with this phone. You can also download your favorite ringtones in this phone. This phone has a FM radio with RDS. One of the features which attracted us was the Blog function which enabled the user to blog through the phone. You get a stand by time up to 370 hours along with a talk time of up to 3 hours and 30 minutes.

Samsung SV60 Review

Here is the third member of the new Samsung clamshell phones. Samsung has introduced the new Samsung SV60 phone which is the most interesting cell phone among the three recently lunched mobiles. Samsung must be thinking a lot about these phones and this is proven by these three phones. All of them are unique and different from each other. Recently we reviewed two of them among which one was a sliding and other was a bar phone. So you can guess what should be this phone, yes this is a flip phone. Through Samsung is quite adept at designing flip phone but we have always remarked these flip phones as the flip-flop phones. But, this time it seems Samsung has something interesting for the customers besides that boring flipping gadget. The new Samsung SV60 has various features which make it a smart gadget and a flip attraction for all Samsung cell phone lovers. Though for geeks this phone has very few things to offer but if you are planning to buy a good flip phone then you can opt for this cool handset. And if you have already had a lot of flip phones then you better try the other new models by Samsung.

Body and Design
There isn’t much to talk about the body of this phone. It has a black colored body with a flip panel. It has two panels and two screens. It has a durable body and the design also has clear finish. Though is even a small scratch happens it would just destroy the look of this phone. The keys are also quite normal. And the touchpad is good. You get a scrolling key on the second panel which gives it a silver metallic look to the cell phone. The keypad looks as if it has been made by crafting a black bar. The over all design of this phone is quite redundant but the glossy looks really catch the eye. If you are buying cell for the first time or want to gift it to somebody then it can be a better choice.

Function
Samsung SV60 is a GSM phone with various regular features. This is a 3G clamshell recently launched by the manufacturer. The over all dimension of this phone is 91x 46x 18.3 mm and the over all weight is around 105 grams. You get two display screens in this phone. One screen is on the upper panel and the other is on the inner panel of the phone. The external 1 inch screen has a CSTN 65K color display with 96×96 pixels resolution. The internal screen has a 1.9 inches TFT screen with a 256K color display with 176x 220 pixels resolution. This phone comes with a 2 mega pixel camera and a secondary VGA camera for video calls. You get a 30 MB internal memory with this phone and can update the memory through the microSD card available in the phone.

Samsung 19 inches Sens G25

There are few things which are really attractive and alluring and here if we find something unnatural then our curiosity soars high and we become more enthusiastic to know about that particular thing. This is a normal phenomenon with every individual and if you are a human being them you must be thinking in the same direction. And I guess this is the reason why most of the gadget manufacturers are now creating things which are unique in their own way and has something which is most appealing. Whether it’s the slimmest cell phone or a big wall clock, human is always attracted to something which is very unusual. Hence now you can find various devices which are very different in size and shape and sometimes they are designed in a miniature or gigantic form also.

So following this business trend we guess Samsung has launched a laptop which is unique and very attractive. Here is the new Samsung Sens G25, a 19 inch laptop which is both smart and very attractive. Samsung Electronics have names it ‘Sens G25’, though we could not find the exact sense for this name. This is now the biggest laptop screen available in market. Compared many other laptops, the Sens G25 is a better option for corporate usage. This laptop is yet to arrive in Korea market and is speculated to be available in this July. This glossy notebook has various features which are alluring geeks. And the biggest of them all is the screen of this laptop which gives you the best view available in market today. Samsung is calling this laptop a Desknote which is specially designed for desk and tables.

Well, today you can find people using laptop everywhere. Even offices provide laptops to the employees and it’s a fact that laptops make life mobile and easy. But, what about your traditional desktops? If you are doing picture editing or any other designing then you prefer doing it on your desktop because it gives you proper view. If this is the situation then the Samsung Desknote is made just for you. This 19 inch desknote can give you a good alternative to your regular desktop. Now you have everything of a desktop minus the heavy CPU. Samsung has designed this laptop for corporate desk use where they can change the three piece computers to one single laptop. So it’s a better deal for those who want to have a hi-tech office set up.

Samsung J600 – the wait is over

After a long gap Samsung has finally launched the much awaited model, the Samsung J600. We have been hearing about this phone for almost a month and finally we got to see this live, thanks to the guys at Samsung. This sliding phone was supposed to be launched in April this year but it’s been launched this month. Famous for its unusual style and color, this phone is different in every respect from other Samsung phones. And I can say all these because I have recently got lucky to see this phone. Truly, this phone has various things which make it more attractive and trendy.The Body
This sliding phone has a well designed body which looks quite good. If you have used some of the sliding phones by Samsung then you can easily judge the difference between other phones and this phone. This phone has an over all dimension of 97x 44x 15 mm. this makes this phone a sleek gadget with a curved body. Samsung J600 weighs a mere 92 grams, which isn’t that light but quite similar to its other counterparts.

Display and Tones
The new Samsung J600 has a TFT screen with 65 K color display. The screen is on the front panel and you get illuminating keys on the inner panel of this phone. The blue handset which I got was quite good as the color was metallic and easily caught my attention. The screen of the phone has a resolution of 128x 160 pixels.

This phone has 30 preset ringtones which are quite melodious but if you want more variety then it has a solution for you too. You can download various ringtones to the Samsung J600. This phone can store Polyphonic (40 channel) and MP3 ringtones.

The new Samsung J600 is designed basically to focus the low end users who need basic features and a few additions which can suit their budget. So your get some of the most important features in this phone. And above all you shouldn’t expect everything in everything. This phone has a capacity of storing up to 1000 phone numbers and it also provides you photo call facility. You can top up your phone memory with the card slot provided in this phone. Though I am not sure till what limit can you take this but the microSD slot must be giving a good storage capacity. J600 is a GPRS and Bluetooth enabled phone. You also get EDGE and USB slot in this phone. Though this phone lacks 3G and Infrared port but the facilities that it is providing is quite good for a low end phone. For your internet needs this phone gives you WAP 2.0/ HTML browser. You can do SMS, MMS and E-mail through this phone.

Samsung J600 has a 1.3 mega pixel camera with a resolution of 1280x 1024 pixels. It also features video and flash. Presently the phone is available in three vibrant colors in blue, silver and pink.

Samsung E950 Review

Samsung has recently launched its new set of cell phone with numerous features and unmatched design. Here is the latest of the series the Samsung E950. This is the sliding wonder by Samsung which will surely rule the market. You get various features with this mobile which are surely attractive. This tri band GSM phone has a sliding body with a metallic finish. The swift design of this phone has all the essential features. This phone is a successor of the Samsung E900. This is the first Samsung phone which has the new graphical user interface, the very first in Samsung.

The overall dimension of this phone is around 98x 46x 15 mm. despite being a slider phone; the new Samsung E950 has a very sleek body. As per weight also, it isn’t heavy like its other counterparts. For best storage the Samsung E950 has a 70 MB internal memory. The microSD card provided by this phone is a microSD TransFlash card slot, which gives you the freedom to extend your memory. This phone has all the latest features which are quite ubiquitous in every phone now days. This is a GPRS enabled phone with EDGE and Bluetooth. But, one thing that lacks is 3G. This phone could have been a better deal if it had 3G and Wi-Fi.

You get a 3 mega pixel camera with this phone. The integrated camera has good picture quality but the only problem is that it’s so difficult to use this camera when you fingers are always on your lenses. With a resolution of 2048x 1536 pixels, this phone has a good quality camera and we have tested it. This flash camera also gives you the freedom to shoot quality videos. We got the black color cell phone for review and this phone was quite good in all its features. This phone lets you use facilities like SMS, MMS and E-mail. It has a browser WAP 2.0/HTML, HTML (Net Front 3.4). Along with various features this phone has Java MIDP 2.0, T9 dictionary, and FM radio. It also has a TV out, organizer, To-Do list and Image Editor. This phone has a standard Lion Battery.
