Is Your Computer Getting Slower and Slower?

November 27, 2007

Do you remember the days when your login screen appeared within a few seconds of logging on, or the days when that site you were looking at popped up almost immediately? For many computer users, this standard of processing power and delivery is something from the past, and something which many have given up hope of retrieving.  However, all is not lost!

Over the last few years we have seen a massive increase in the reported instances of spyware and virus traces, something which is both alarming and potentially serious.  This situation has in turn created a massive market for registry cleaners with Microsoft Registry Repair systems one of the first to the market.  While they have been followed by a whole host of other programs, Microsoft were one of the first to recognise this problem.

However, whether you use a Microsoft Registry Repair program or something issued by another third party, you really should have a registry cleaner on your system. Every time you download a piece of “free” software, you should be aware that there may be some sort of spyware of monitoring program attached.  Rather than downloading the latest MSN upgrade from a third party site, why not go straight to the main MSN site? Or when upgrading your Excel Spreadsheet, why do it via a third party unconnected site? These are the types of programs which the rogue webmasters will target, programs which are popular and guarantee a long list of would be victims!

So next time you spot your computer operating a little slower than normal run that Registry cleaner and you should soon be rid of that rogue spyware and monitoring software.  Even if you use the uninstall function to delete a program, traces can still be left behind, and some can have a detrimental effect on your system.

Keep you computer clean, and your processing power mean - its a simple as that!  Click here for the best registry cleaners on the market.
