Leica M8 digital camera Review

Leica has recently announced its new high end digital camera, the new Leica M8. This is a new range of camera by Leica which will soon be available in market. This is a compact digital viewfinder system camera for professional use. This camera can give you the best of images when you use it with Leica M lenses. This camera features a microprocessor controlled metal blade slot shutter. The camera features an enclosed all-metal body which is made of highly stable magnesium alloy. The metal used in this camera can give you professional camera that can last for many years. This camera features a black synthetic leather coating where the top panel and bottom cover are milled from solid brass and are silver or black chromium plated.
This is a 10 mega pixel camera with an RG B color filter array. M8 has a 27x 18 mm CCD sensor. You get various image sizes in this camera. This camera features a 6 bit cioded Leica M lenses of 16-90 mm focal length. It’s advisable that you use Leica lens. There are various lenses which are incompatible lenses which you should avoid using those lenses. You get manual focus via lens ring. You also get a superimposed focusing system via viewfinder. This new camera has a heavily centre-based TTL exposure metering with preset aperture. This camera also features a silicon photodiode with collection lens. As per the shutter action, this camera features a shutter activisation optimized for minimum noise development. You get an electric motor drive with friction wheel in the first speed build up stage and a can disc for homogeneous torque throughout the activation process. This camera has a 1/8000 sec shutter speed.
This camera features a 2.5 inches LCD screen with 230,000 pixels resolution. You get a LED symbol for flash status in the viewfinder. You can find a four-digit LED display with dots above and below. The brightness of this camera is automatically adjusted depending on the ambiance of the subject. Along with various features this camera shows memory capacity warning when the SD card is full. Leica has everything gorged in this camera which can make you allured for this camera. This is a professional camera so if you are planning to get a beginners’ camera then this camera can be little difficult for you to use. So it is better you search well before going for this camera. Though Leica has a well instructional manual but you might miss some intricacies of photography if you start with such high professional camera.
