Ricoh GX100

Ricoh has recently announced its new Caplio GX100 digital camera. This camera is a successor of the famous Ricoh GX8. But what we can relate this camera to is the flagship camera of the manufacturer the GR-D. The new Ricoh Caplio GX100 has similar design and almost similar features like the GR-D model. The new Ricoh Caplio is a 10 mega pixel digital camera with various features which are exclusively available in this clam shell camera. The most notable feature of this camera is that it has a 3x zoom lens which has an unparalleled wide angle capability, covering a range which is equivalent to 24-72 mm on a 35 mm camera. This is like a boon for those who love to shoot interiors and landscapes. This new range is gives an increase in the diagonal field of view of around 20 degrees field of view compared to the normal short end of most compact camera zooms.  There are various features in this camera which can be called unique. And we have come to know that the new Ricoh Caplio GX100 is also the world’s first digital camera to offer a removable electronic viewfinder which can slip into the flash and can also tilt upwards through 90 degrees. This camera follows closely its predecessor GR-D and you can see this with the similar SLR like control which is there due to the twin control dials, the raw capture which uses the universal DNG format and a varied range of customized options. And all this you can get in a somber design and sleek body.
