Samsung L760 Review

Before starting this review let me tell you that we are not at all in a spree to popularize Samsung phones. You might think that we are only reviewing Samsung phones but we can’t help it because Samsung is busy introducing its new range of phones and we have nothing but to review these phones. Believe us, this isn’t at all a biased report. Jokes apart, here is another Samsung phone in run. Samsung has recently launched the new Samsung L760 cell phone which is a trendy and sporty phone by the manufacturer. This phone enjoys various features and a clamshell look which makes it all more attractive.

Body and design
Samsung L760 is a sliding phone which has a look which closely resembles the Samsung 730i. This phone has a design which can easily fill your palm. You get a minimum keys pad on the front panel of the phone. The screen is on the front panel which makes it very attractive. You get a wide front panel view with this phone. The front panel has a scrolling key which gives you four touch buttons for easy navigation. The keypad of this phone provides keys that are easy to operate. This phone is so designed that you can have an easy grip in your palm. The over all design of this phone is quite attractive. With an over all dimension 100x 47x 15 mm, this phone might look little heavy to you but this phone weighs a mere 93 grams.

Samsung L760 is a tri band GSM phone. You can also have this phone with a CDMA connection. You get a TFT screen with 256K colors display with this phone. The screen resolution of L760 is 176x 220 pixels. We just could not understand why Samsung is reducing the resolution of its phones. If you are having a low resolution then what is the need of having a TFT 256K color screen. This phone comes with a 40 MB embedded memory. If you want to top up the memory then you can do this through the microSD card present in this phone. L760 is a smartphone with all the required features which can allure any geek. This GPRS phone is also 3G enabled. You get EDGE and Bluetooth along with USB port with this phone. As per messaging you can do SMS, MMS, EMS and Email with this phone. You get a WAP 2.0/xHTML, RSS reader with this phone. L760 has a 2 mega pixel camera with 1600x 1200 pixels resolution. You also get video of QCIF MPEG4 H.263 and Flash with this camera. You get polyphonic ringtones with 64 channels with this phone. You can also download your favorite ringtones in this phone. This phone has a FM radio with RDS. One of the features which attracted us was the Blog function which enabled the user to blog through the phone. You get a stand by time up to 370 hours along with a talk time of up to 3 hours and 30 minutes.
