Samsung SV60 Review

Here is the third member of the new Samsung clamshell phones. Samsung has introduced the new Samsung SV60 phone which is the most interesting cell phone among the three recently lunched mobiles. Samsung must be thinking a lot about these phones and this is proven by these three phones. All of them are unique and different from each other. Recently we reviewed two of them among which one was a sliding and other was a bar phone. So you can guess what should be this phone, yes this is a flip phone. Through Samsung is quite adept at designing flip phone but we have always remarked these flip phones as the flip-flop phones. But, this time it seems Samsung has something interesting for the customers besides that boring flipping gadget. The new Samsung SV60 has various features which make it a smart gadget and a flip attraction for all Samsung cell phone lovers. Though for geeks this phone has very few things to offer but if you are planning to buy a good flip phone then you can opt for this cool handset. And if you have already had a lot of flip phones then you better try the other new models by Samsung.

Body and Design
There isn’t much to talk about the body of this phone. It has a black colored body with a flip panel. It has two panels and two screens. It has a durable body and the design also has clear finish. Though is even a small scratch happens it would just destroy the look of this phone. The keys are also quite normal. And the touchpad is good. You get a scrolling key on the second panel which gives it a silver metallic look to the cell phone. The keypad looks as if it has been made by crafting a black bar. The over all design of this phone is quite redundant but the glossy looks really catch the eye. If you are buying cell for the first time or want to gift it to somebody then it can be a better choice.

Function
Samsung SV60 is a GSM phone with various regular features. This is a 3G clamshell recently launched by the manufacturer. The over all dimension of this phone is 91x 46x 18.3 mm and the over all weight is around 105 grams. You get two display screens in this phone. One screen is on the upper panel and the other is on the inner panel of the phone. The external 1 inch screen has a CSTN 65K color display with 96×96 pixels resolution. The internal screen has a 1.9 inches TFT screen with a 256K color display with 176x 220 pixels resolution. This phone comes with a 2 mega pixel camera and a secondary VGA camera for video calls. You get a 30 MB internal memory with this phone and can update the memory through the microSD card available in the phone.
