Apple iPhone – Make or Break Rule

So now finally the wait is over. All the media hype, those deadly rumors, long discussions and debates have finally come to a halt as the Apple iPhone is finally launched on the July 29. This is the phone which I believe got the maximum attention and still grabbing them. Whether you heard about its features, quality, design, or style, you must have heard at least something about this phone. This is really so amazing to have a product which had already become a household name much before its release. And we call it the power of publicity and technology. So true to this, now every gadget creates a halo before its final launch. But have you ever thought that whether this phone is worth all these hypes. Thanks to our media and few staunch Apple lovers, we are flooded with iPhone news, reports and views. But is it so worthy that you spend at least half an hour to read stories based on this single device. So let’s take a look at few things which can at least tell us a little bit about this iPhone and what exactly it has and lacks.

NO 3G
Well, if you are designing a smart phone then there must be everything smart in it. But I guess there is some problem in this iPhone regarding the internet and the broadband connectivity. The iPhone is said to be the most advanced and fast internet phone but how come it lacks the most advanced 3G facility. Though to compensate this, the phone has EDGE and Wi-Fi but most of the phones today have 3G and this is what makes them smart phone too. Wi-Fi only works where there is a Wi-Fi available so this might be little difficult for other users.

Think Big
I know this phone has used hell lot of brains and it’s a product of big thoughts but this could have better with a slightly small design. The iPhone is quite big compared to many successful handsets. Though this phone has a sleek body and is very thin but the size should have been little smaller than what it is now. It’s so difficult for men to take it with them as they don’t use purse and expect their phone will be fit in their pocket so it can be little difficult for them to carry this. And for women who do carry purse it isn’t that great style statement.

Touch and Go
The iPhone’s touch interface is surely the strongest point of this phone. But this sometimes becomes so difficult to handle. Even the LG Chocolate has a touch panel and we have users who complain about it. The touch screen makes it really difficult to end calls and sometimes it’s difficult to lock the keypad also. So this touch screen can sometimes make you really annoyed.
