Samsung J600 – the wait is over

After a long gap Samsung has finally launched the much awaited model, the Samsung J600. We have been hearing about this phone for almost a month and finally we got to see this live, thanks to the guys at Samsung. This sliding phone was supposed to be launched in April this year but it’s been launched this month. Famous for its unusual style and color, this phone is different in every respect from other Samsung phones. And I can say all these because I have recently got lucky to see this phone. Truly, this phone has various things which make it more attractive and trendy.The Body
This sliding phone has a well designed body which looks quite good. If you have used some of the sliding phones by Samsung then you can easily judge the difference between other phones and this phone. This phone has an over all dimension of 97x 44x 15 mm. this makes this phone a sleek gadget with a curved body. Samsung J600 weighs a mere 92 grams, which isn’t that light but quite similar to its other counterparts.

Display and Tones
The new Samsung J600 has a TFT screen with 65 K color display. The screen is on the front panel and you get illuminating keys on the inner panel of this phone. The blue handset which I got was quite good as the color was metallic and easily caught my attention. The screen of the phone has a resolution of 128x 160 pixels.

This phone has 30 preset ringtones which are quite melodious but if you want more variety then it has a solution for you too. You can download various ringtones to the Samsung J600. This phone can store Polyphonic (40 channel) and MP3 ringtones.

Features
The new Samsung J600 is designed basically to focus the low end users who need basic features and a few additions which can suit their budget. So your get some of the most important features in this phone. And above all you shouldn’t expect everything in everything. This phone has a capacity of storing up to 1000 phone numbers and it also provides you photo call facility. You can top up your phone memory with the card slot provided in this phone. Though I am not sure till what limit can you take this but the microSD slot must be giving a good storage capacity. J600 is a GPRS and Bluetooth enabled phone. You also get EDGE and USB slot in this phone. Though this phone lacks 3G and Infrared port but the facilities that it is providing is quite good for a low end phone. For your internet needs this phone gives you WAP 2.0/ HTML browser. You can do SMS, MMS and E-mail through this phone.

Samsung J600 has a 1.3 mega pixel camera with a resolution of 1280x 1024 pixels. It also features video and flash. Presently the phone is available in three vibrant colors in blue, silver and pink.
